MCLAREN NORTHERN MICHIGAN WELCOMES NEW NEUROLOGIST
McLaren Northern Michigan is pleased to announce Minna Hancock, DO, neurologist, has joined the Neurosciences team.

As a high school volunteer at the Muscular Dystrophy Association Summer Camps, Dr. Hancock gained a love to serve others that led her to the health care field.  "I was motivated to choose a field in neurology in part from working with children affected with muscular dystrophy, as well as the fascination and awe I felt when learning about the brain and caring for patients with neurological conditions during my initial neurology rotation in medical school," stated Dr. Hancock.

When looking for a location to practice medicine, Dr. Hancock wanted a safe, beautiful, family-friendly small town with great outdoor recreational opportunities.  More

MEALS ON WHEELS DRIVERS NEEDED
The Charlevoix County Commission on Aging is desperate for Meals on Wheels drivers in East Jordan and Boyne City.  As a volunteer you would be paid mileage and could work as little as 1 day a week from 10:45am-1pm, or 5 days a week from 10:45am-1pm.

If our working community members volunteered for us on their lunch hour, there is a good chance your employer may allow and pay you for the time you are representing them in the community making a huge impact.  Check with them and see.

Please contact Sheri Shepard at 231.237.0103 if you are able to help.
