MCLAREN NORTHERN MICHIGAN FOUNDATION
Grant Supports Patient Assistance Needs for Northern Michigan Residents
A $3,000 grant from the Charlevoix County Community Foundation (C3F) is assisting McLaren Northern Michigan patients with resources to improve their access to necessary medical care. Donations in support of the patient assistance program help patients, and their families, overcome financial barriers to accessing important medical services.
During the past year, the grant from the C3F has assisted 50 Charlevoix County residents with medical supplies, prescriptions, gas cards, lodging, and food expenses related to travel for medical care. This funding ensures that northern Michigan patients don't have to choose between medicine and groceries, or skip life-saving treatment because they don't have money to put gas in their car. More
