How Will I Be Supporting #yOURPVIcommunity When I Raise the Paddle?
In honor of Ginny Colwell, and as a nod to her love of teaching, the Raise the Paddle will inspire other lifelong learners—our teachers—by funding professional development opportunities. With every paddle raised, an investment will be made in our teachers—to let them learn, to let them bring something back to be shared with their colleagues, and in the end, to let them engage our students in meaningful ways. Get ready to support #yOURPVIcommunity.
When Can I Start Bidding on Auction Items?
Many items will be available to bid on starting tomorrow, Thursday, at 9:00 p.m. Visit Black & Gold Gala to check out the great items and start bidding!
Where Do I Go to Collect Auction Items I Win?
At the end of the evening, you will be able to grab any baskets you won in the Bel Alton Dining Commons. However, if you won a non-tangible item (for example, a Panther Party spot or an experience), you do not need to come back to collect the item—we will email you information a few days after the Gala. Lastly, if you are simply too tired to return to the Dining Commons (we’d rather you dance!), we are happy to hold your item and you can pick it up at PVI on Monday, May 2 at 10 a.m. or Thursday, May 6 at 1 p.m.
