Welcome to Northland Christian! We are so glad you are here and part of our Northland family! You’ve probably seen some info about our upcoming Black & Gold event. I wanted to take a few minutes to explain a little more about Black & Gold, and how YOU can support Northland.

Black & Gold is our traditional fundraiser & social event of the year. Think Gala, but our version is less fancy and more fun! This year’s theme is a “Totally 80’s Party!” Save the date for Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Northgate Country Club. 80’s attire is encouraged, but not required. We will be offering an 80’s style t-shirt through the Cougar Store closer to the event.
Each year, Black & Gold funds are directed to specific campus improvement projects that help Northland continue to grow and develop. This year’s funds will be used to help fund a new playground on our new consolidated campus, as well as other projects needed to complete the consolidation. Having ONE campus is something the Northland family has worked towards for a long time and we are so excited to see this vision come to fruition!

ALL Northland parents are welcome to attend Black & Gold. It is the one night each year where ALL parents come together to celebrate Northland’s past, present and future. It doesn’t matter if your student is an artist or athlete, if your child is a preschooler or senior - ALL Northland parents are welcome to join the fun and celebration!

Below are a few simple ways YOU can support Black & Gold
•   Underwrite a portion of our 80’s Party
•   Sponsor a Reserved Table
•   Purchase Tickets
•   Donate Auction Items
•   Solicit Auction Items from Contacts
•   Invite Friends to Attend
•   Share Black & Gold posts on Social Media
•   Volunteer to Help at the Event
•   Bid Often & Bid High during the Auctions
•   Buy Raffle Tickets

Our event also consists of a Cyber Auction featuring unique Northland experiences donated by our amazing faculty and staff. Your student could be the lucky winner of lunch out with his favorite teacher or get to be a teacher for the day, go on a super cool science field trip & more! So even if you can’t attend the event, you can still support and win some FUN experiences for your student. More details about our Cyber Auction will be coming in January.

We hope you will join the fun and come celebrate Northland with us. Visit the Black & Gold website for more information and to purchase tickets, donate items or be a sponsor. Thank you to the new family who has already donated!
