"Hi everyone! My name is Jenise Rodriguez I'm 34, born and raised in beautiful Chicago and Mother to an amazing daughter who makes me so proud! I've been an Aesthetician for 11 years now and I've worked in a few spas in Chicago. I started managing them and learning all I could on the business side of my industry and really got a good feel for it. Working for others I realized the type of space I wanted to create, and I knew at some point I needed to work for myself. I need to start off by saying my clients are the reason I am here. If it wasn't for them there would be no Sanar Aesthetics. Because of that I want them to feel my gratitude every time they walk into the space I created for them. I love that some clients come and fall right to sleep and trust me to do what I need to, some even bring pajamas to change into after their service to remain relaxed and go straight home! From the warm cup of tea to their favorite snacks I hope they know I appreciate them and will always give them the best treatment they need at the time. They have followed me all over the city and even received services in a spare bedroom in my apartment at some point! Their support and encouragement are unheard of. Now please understand my spa is not fancy or huge and I don't have all the high-tech equipment a lot of other Aestheticians have yet, but I do have an immense love for my clients and my craft. I believe in educating them properly and helping them hold themselves accountable for their skins health. I hope they always take my tough love as just that LOVE. As I continue to grow I hope to always help women and men realize the importance of self-care and that it's OK to spend a little money on yourself without the guilt. I love growing 'young' with them and hope I am able to service them for years to come.
This June marks my 2-year anniversary at my first location in one of Chicago's up and coming neighborhoods. It's still a bit unreal that I'm there!! One thing I'm very proud of is the fact that I was able to open my business in a predominately Latino neighborhood that is now starting to change. Being a Latina Business owner is something I hope makes my family proud. The hustle IS real and not easy. But I'm here and don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon! I hope to show the younger generations that you can follow your dreams while making an impact and changing people's lives. Growing up with many challenges that seemed to always set me up for failure only made me stronger. I hope I am able to leave a mark on my community in a good way some day.
