We were pleased with WVU’s overall performance and enjoyed an exhilarating football game that came down to the final play. At Black Diamond Realty, Sunday’s game held a special place in our hearts. One of the principal owners, David Lorenze, feels indebted to both universities. David’s roots are in Morgantown, WV whereas his college education hails from Virginia Tech. Was our brokerage team wearing burnt orange and maroon? Absolutely not! Our color pallet aligns with the old gold and blue. In addition to the schools’ long-standing rivalry, our namesake is also immersed in the region’s rich coal tradition. Coal has been West Virginia’s black diamond for generations.
