What you're looking at is a TREMEC TKO 5-speed with all four mounting ears busted off. This wasn't the result of being dropped or abuse during shipping. This is what happens when you ignore the instructions and draw your transmission to the bellhousing using the bellhousing bolts, doing this will void your warranty because, as you see, it can cause severe damage to the transmission. This particular customer used the bolts to draw in his transmission without much trouble (however, he didn't realize he had put the transmission into a bind). Everything seemed fine, until he started her up and went on a drive. The rotation of the engine was just enough pressure to send the aluminum case past its breaking point, snapping off all four ears. Luckily, no one was injured.
