BHC Foundation Scholarship Update:
2023-2024 Scholarship Recipients
The scholarship application season is winding down. Over 30 volunteers reviewed around 280 candidates for the 2023-2024 term. The Black Hawk College Foundation was able to award a record amount of funds (over $200,000!) to over 200 students. Because of the generosity of many individuals, organizations and other foundations, we are able to offer scholarships to help students pay for their education. Thank you to all of our donors for your support.

Donations were collected at the Hawk’s Hub and more than $500 was raised. Ashtin Trimble and President Thomas (pictured above) were the top Champions for Charity.
QCBT Creates Scholarship -
Quad City Bank & Trust (QCBT) announced its four scholarships for Black Hawk College students who are first-generation college students. Each scholarship will cover full tuition, fees and books for two years.

The Quad City Bank & Trust Scholarship is open to full-time students of all majors. Recognizing that financial need can keep many students from accessing a post-secondary education, QCBT’s goal is to provide access to education to those in need.
