Hello Beautiful People!

Celebrating Black History Month and heritage is an important time to reflect on the achievements, but we all know that those achievements did not come without struggle, but they struggled so that we would struggle less.

During this Black History Month let’s fight against stigmas and misdiagnosis that exist around “disabilities”. Let's seek the correct diagnosis so that we can obtain the correct interventions. It may not be a one and done situation and you may need to talk to several professionals and do the research to get to the right answer. Don’t give up

Black Families and our Allies continue to advocate for what is right and equitable for our families. It is crucial for us to provide support, encourage, and share resources to ensure that we feel valued and empowered to continue to advocate for what is right.

Continue to celebrate our uniqueness and strengths of each individual, regardless of any differences or “disabilities” we may have.

Black families, join us at our monthly support group meeting this Saturday, February 24th at Pomona Library @11:30!
