Creative Writing Challenge

Deadline is this Friday, February 8!
Leopold’s Ice Cream and Live Oak Public Libraries host the 9th Annual Creative Writing Challenge! Students are encouraged to creatively express their thoughts through poetry on the theme “100 Years of Leopold’s Ice Cream!”

SBF Children's Tent

Savannah Book Festival and Live Oak Public Libraries present the SBF Children’s Tent on Sunday, February 17 at 1:00 PM in Reynolds Square with award-winning authors, music, and art. Plus enjoy special presentations at libraries on Saturday, February 16!

Free Tax Preparation Assistance

Free tax preparation assistance with IRS certified volunteers from the AARP Foundation is available on a first-come, first-served basis at specific library locations. Registration is required in person for each day. Early arrival is recommended.

High-Speed Internet Services

Live Oak Public Libraries now has high-speed internet services through a partnership with Comcast Business. The advanced fiber-optic network connects 16 library locations across Chatham, Effingham and Liberty Counties. Internet is free and open to the public, giving patrons greater access to online resources.
