Rincon Library Renovations

Have you seen the renovations at Rincon Library? We are excited to better serve the community with technology upgrades, new furniture, a more spacious layout, and a dedicated teen area. The redesign has also made it easier for patrons to browse the shelves and discover new books to check out.

Community Engagement

Do you have gently used children's books that need a new home? We welcome book donations to support partnerships with local schools and community organizations. Drop-off locations: Bull Street Library, Garden City Library, Hinesville Library, Islands Library, Oglethorpe Mall Library, Southwest Chatham Library, and Springfield Library. Thanks!

The Cat in the Hat

March is National Reading Month and stories will come to life at the library. Kids can play along with the famous Dr. Seuss book character, the Cat in the Hat! March 2-6: save the date for this interactive show.

2020 Census

The 2020 Census is coming soon! In March, you will receive an invite for a simple questionnaire. You can complete it online, over the phone, or by mail. Answers are secure and private.
Your response matters. Census results have an impact on community planning and funding for health clinics and highways, fire departments and disaster response, education programs and college tuition assistance, and so much more.
