Dear Club and League Representatives:

This Saturday and Sunday, Black Star, in partnership with US Soccer, is conducting a FREE scouting and ID program for boys and girls ages 14-19 with the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of college coaches, professional teams, and U.S. Soccer scouts to be evaluated for collegiate, club, and professional soccer from MLS, US and U.S. Soccer.

This program takes place on Saturday, September 24 from 1:00 PM (Check-in starts at 12:00 PM) to 5:30 PM and on Sunday, September 25 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Both sessions will be held at Keyworth Stadium which is located at 3201 Roosevelt Street in Hamtramck, MI.

Also, this Saturday, Black Star is hosting a FREE ‘First Touch’ Youth Clinic for players ages 5 to 13 with the goal of creating and strengthening a love of the sport. Up to 150 youth participants will be provided the opportunity to enhance their stills, agility and technique from professional coaches and players. This specific clinic also include access to local soccer stars and legends, autograph sessions, and free giveaways. The ‘First Touch’ session will be held at Keyworth Stadium, starts at 9:00 AM and concludes at 12:00 PM.
