Yo . . . pirates! Recently the crew has noticed some guests buying booze and beer and bringing it into the hotel. As a reminder, due to safety concerns, no alcohol purchased outside of the hotel will be permitted in the hotel. Please support the crew (and avoid walking the plank) by comply with the rules. 

Chica of the Month . . .

Our Pirates continue to submit our "Chica Comment Cards" and for the month of September there was definitely one clear winner for our "Chica of the Month" –Jennifer! Nothing but high marks for her fantastic services!

Keep the Comment Cards coming Pirates! They are in your Guest Services Book; you submit them anonymously - just deposit them in the box by the front desk.

Crew Sitrep . . . Nico

As some of you pirates already know . . . our First Mate "Nico" had a life-threatening motorcycle accident about a month ago. We are pleased to announce he is recovering well at home and is expected to return to work soon. We also want to take this opportunity to remind our pirates of the significant dangers (to life & limb) when 

renting a motorcycle or scooter here in the DR. Depending on availability golf carts can be rented within the gated community of Costambar. However, we encourage you to take a taxi when transiting through or around the city of Puerto Plata. Stay Safe Pirates.

Speaking of "golf" Tuesday October 4th is National Golf Lovers Day. Blackbeards Hotel is located just minutes away from Los Mangos Golf Club. What a great excuse to get together with a group of pirate friends and play a few rounds (shipmates) . . . with an alibi.

Show Us Your Colors Night!

We kick off the weekend every Thursday night with our "Show Us Your Colors" dance show in the Crow’s Nest Bar. Our lovely Shipmates don the same-colored outfits, and dance; with only one goal in mind . . . pleasing pirates. The upstairs bar is only open on Thu-Fri-Sat nights: a different event every night!

Babydoll/Lingerie Raffle Night…

Friday Nights during Bikini Contest Weekend; The "Babydoll Show and Raffle" with sexy chicas, mirrored walls & a disco ball will make you feel young again! All the Shipmates wear lingerie that leaves . . . well . . . nothing to the imagination. We hold a $1 raffle and one lucky Pirate wins an exotic lap dance with the lingerie included (Shipmate is not though).

Our last Bikini contests was once again performed in front of a sold-out crowd. Both Veteran Pirates and guests alike have been rocking the house for previous events and this one was no exception. Something about being on a tropical island, sunshine, an ice-cold drink, a cool breeze and sixteen beauties in bikinis . . . puts our pirates in the mood to plunder. The chicas were quite competitive and showed little interest in boundaries . . . 

when it came to keeping the three judges' attention, as well as, at attention. When the winners were announced, to no surprise of those in attendance, it was Guenesis in first, Daniela in second and Ivet in 3rd place.

Mardi Gras Night!!. . .

An evening of debauchery awaits every Friday night of the Miss Universe weekend. Mardi Gras night allows you to create memories (fantasies fulfilled). Shipmates in a wide array of sexy costumes, at your beck and call. If you like, bring an outfit for a Shipmate to wear (for you); their only agenda is pleasing their Pirates.

The Ms. Universe Contest features SIX Contestants showcasing their talents in the Evening Gown and Lingerie competition; the festivities take place in our Crow’s Nest Bar! Unlike the Bikini Contest - All Pirates get to judge this contest and history has proven that not all Pirates think alike! . . . So, usually all contestants get some votes . . . because pirates have their favorites. This week Luna topped the favorites list with some moves too controversial for publication.
