What's new this week?

SUMMER RISING: SECOND ROUND OF ENROLLMENT AND AVAILABLE SEATS. Families who did not apply during the first enrollment phase can now apply for K-8 Summer Rising until July 10. Families who applied during the first phase but did not receive a seat will be contacted when a seat becomes available. Families can also reach out to programs directly. .EVENT. FREE "BIG UMBRELLA DAY" RETURNS TO LINCOLN CENTER! Lincoln Center, in partnership with The Autism Initiative, presents Big Umbrella Day, a free, inclusive arts experience designed for young audiences with autism and other developmental disabilities. Learn more and register >>


MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL REACH A BUDGET AGREEMENT. There's still much more work to do, but we are relieved that the final budget restores funding to critical programs: the DOE's immigrant family communication program, the Mental Health Continuum, Promise NYC, and community schools. Learn more about the budget agreement >>


FREE SUMMER MEALS FOR STUDENTS. NYC's Summer Meals program offers free breakfast and lunch throughout NYC for anyone age 18 and under. No registration, documentation, or ID is required. Learn more and find a location near you >>
