SCHOOL BUS SERVICE WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL STUDENTS WHO NEED IT STARTING ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL. The DOE will provide 100,000 students with bus service at the start of the school year, with new health and safety protocols. By the end of today, all families should have received notification of their bus routes. Learn more >>

FREE CHILD CARE LEARNING BRIDGES PROGRAMS WILL BEGIN ON 9/21 FOR 30,000 CHILDREN. More spots will be added: there will be 70,000 seats by the end of October, and 100,000 seats in December. Families who previously completed the Learning Bridges survey will be automatically entered into the enrollment process, but are NOT guaranteed seats. .WEBINAR. RETURNING TO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES. The most recent webinar from the DOE's Beyond Access series covered what families can expect around the provision of special education services in the upcoming school year. Watch now >>

SOME GRAB-AND-GO MEAL LOCATIONS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE CITY. The free meal program for adults will remain in place at about 200 schools in high-need areas, distributing breakfast and lunch from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. after classes. Learn more about the grab-and-go program >>
