MONDAY, FEBRUARY 15th
Whitin Community Center: Open Swim (Competition Pool)
10:20 am – 11:20 am
Enjoy Open Swim in the Competition Pool. This event is for individuals being served by the Blackstone Valley Family Support Center and their families. Please register yourself, and up to 5 additional participants. Due to capacity limits both in the pool and on the pool deck, we can only accommodate 1 non-swimming spectator per party.

Tree of Life (Virtual Class)
1:00 pm – 2:30 pm
The Tree of Life is an important symbol all around the world. It symbolizes connection, family and knowledge. You will learn techniques of wire wrapping using gemstone chips or stones. We will be using Czech Glass. Participants of all ages will be able to display their creations as art on a wall, in a window, or anywhere else you can imagine!


Brave Yoga for All: Wizard of Oz (Virtual Class)
6:30 pm – 7:00 pm
We are off to see the Wizard! Come join our yoga journey to the land of Oz. We will learn new yoga and mindfulness activities from our favorite Oz characters.

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 16th
Brave Yoga for All: Superheroes (Virtual Class)
10:45 am – 11:15 am
Please join us as we find our inner Superhero during this fun Yoga and Mindfulness Session. Practice proper breathing techniques, calming strategies, and tools for relaxation.


Beginners Weaving: Colors of the Sea (Virtual Class)
11:00 am – 12:30 pm
This is a beginners weaving class geared towards ages 10 and up. We will use a small notched cardboard loom to create a beautiful work of art. Six colors of soft yarn are provided, as well as a 6” easy-to-thread, large eye plastic needle. We will learn four simple weaving techniques, which include: Tabby, Soumak, Interlocking and Rya knot.


Let’s Make a Masterpiece for Beginners: Chickadee (Virtual Class)
2:00 pm – 3:30 pm
Join us to create your own masterpiece. In this virtual class, we will be using acrylics to paint this Chickadee on a branch. You will also be introduced to the basics of acrylic paint. This class is good for all ages. Prepare to amaze yourself!



Sue’s Snack & Storytime: Chocolate Cherry Mice and “Town Mouse, Country Mouse” (Virtual)
6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Is there no place like home? One mouse couple from town and another from the country, eager to get away from their everyday lives, agree to swap homes. They then find adventures around every corner! Sue will read and share pictures of "Town Mouse, Country Mouse" by Jan Brett. After the story, you will learn to make Chocolate Cherry Mice. YUM!

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 17th
Sing-Along Social with Jamie (Virtual)
1:00 pm – 1:45 pm
La-la-let’s sing! Join us to sing favorite songs ‘a cappella’ with Jamie. All experience levels are welcome, so come have fun singing, humming, and/or moving along with this group! Song lyrics will be provided after registration.

Enjoy Open Gym time in the WCC Gymnasium. This event is for individuals being served by the Blackstone Valley Family Support Center and their families. Please register yourself, and up to 3 additional people in your party. Due to capacity limits, we can only accommodate 1 non-participating spectator per party.


THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 18th

Cooking with Mary Ann: Cannoli Dip and Ham & Cheese Crescent Rolls (Virtual Class)
12:00 pm – 1:30 pm
Come join us for a fun virtual cooking class! You'll learn about kitchen safety, cooking prep, and work with our instructor to cook up two delicious items that you and your family can enjoy! Our instructor, Mary Ann Genovese, has years of experience teaching young adults how to have fun/be safe in the kitchen and become a great cook.


Zumba, Core & Fitness (Virtual Class)
3:00 pm – 3:45 pm
Join fitness instructors Gina and Beth for a virtual fitness class incorporating Zumba, strength, and core exercises. This 45-minute session is a beginner-level workout open to all. All you need is some light weights*, hand towel, chair, and a water bottle. Get fit in 2021! (*household items, like soup cans, can be used in place of weights)

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 19th
Beatz Dance Studio: Hip Hop (Virtual Class)
11:00 am – 11:45 am
Cindy Libbey and Alycia Beatrice are the proud owners of the Beatz Dance Studio located in Grafton, MA. They will start this online class with a warm up and keep it moving and fun! Both Alycia and Cindy will observe the class and provide explanation and demonstration throughout.

1:00 pm – 2:30 pm
Have you ever heard of a dentist that crawls in the mouth to fix teeth? Dr DeSoto, the mouse dentist, did very good work with the aid of his assistant, Mrs DeSoto, who copes with tooth aches in animals large and small. Sue will read and share pictures of Dr DeSoto by William Steig. After the story, you will learn to make Chocolate Cherry Mice. YUM!
