Blake Davis Joins Green Hill Productions as General Manager

Green Hill Productions, the boutique record label and creator of top quality jazz, instrumental and specialty music releases, is pleased to announce the addition of Blake Davis to their team. Davis, who has spent over two decades in the music business, will serve as Green Hill Productions' new general manager overseeing all label operations, branding, marketing, and strategic initiatives. Davis takes over for former Vice President/General Manager, Greg Howard who started the label in 1994. In his newly created role, Howard will continue to focus on product development and A&R.

As a former signed artist and published songwriter, Davis brings to Green Hill an extensive wealth of knowledge about the entertainment industry. More than 20 years ago, Davis kicked off his music career as a radio personality for a Duke Enterprises-owned Top 40 station (101.9 KIYS FM). He also served as the brand manager for the wildly popular Christian animated series VeggieTales. While there, he served as a liaison between Warner Music/Word Entertainment and DreamWorks Animation/Big Idea Entertainment.

Davis also spent several years as the manager of commercial partnerships for Capitol Christian Music Group, heading up the company's national accounts for Music, Home Entertainment, and Kids within CBA markets. In addition, he managed day-to-day marketing and strategic initiatives for all artists signed to ReThink Media, working with the indie artists signed to digital distribution deals through Capitol Christian Music Group.

The addition marks an exciting new chapter for Green Hill Productions, which struck a partnership with Primary Wave Music last year as part of a strategy to expand to a larger audience, develop new artists, and grow its artist roster. The label is home to a variety of artists including Beegie Adair, David Arkenstone, Michael Omartian, Luke McMaster, Jack Jezzro, and Orla Fallon and recently announced an integrated partnership with instrumental music phenom Jim Brickman.

"I'm very excited to join the amazing team at Primary Wave and specifically Green Hill," said Davis. "Green Hill Productions provided a unique opportunity to work within a wide array of music genres and continue to grow and expand upon the the amazing things that Greg Howard has built over the past 25 years."

"We are happy to welcome Blake Davis to the team," stated Paul Sizelove, president of Green Hill Productions. "He comes to us with an accomplished history in the music business, an understanding of today's marketing landscape, and fresh ideas for the artists and projects on the Green Hill label. We look forward to watching the label grow stronger under his management."
