I hope that you and your families are staying healthy! Although I can’t weigh in on the science of the pandemic, I do have the knowledge and experience to weigh in on the economics of it. I can assure you that there are better times ahead—this is the fifth bear market of my career.

The entire team at Blattel & Associates is working hard to stay up to date on the latest strategies and trends, so we can adjust your investments as needed. Behind the scenes, we’re busily ensuring that you’re on target to meet your retirement goals. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.

Speaking of “behind the scenes”, this issue of the newsletter includes a link to “Bob’s Movie Corner”. After months of stir craziness, I’m refocusing my energy on new and old hobbies. As an avid cinephile, member of Cinema St. Louis , and reviewer for the St. Louis International Film Festival , I plan to share reviews of my favorite films with you. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

All the best,

Bob's Movie Corner
My passion for movies dates to childhood—spending Saturdays watching films at the Rio Theatre in North St. Louis—and has continued to grow. Over the last five years, I’ve reviewed 130 narrative films (from 20+ countries!) submitted to the St. Louis International Film Festival (SLIFF) , but I’ve only awarded an A+ a handful of times.

One of these A+ films is Second Samuel which now streaming on Amazon Prime . Click here to read my review . SLIFF a great opportunity for me to find undiscovered gems like this independent film. Enjoy!
