Client resources & news
November 9, 2020

It seems obvious to talk about the election, but I think the news stations have done that enough. What I will say is that our long-term strategies have been designed to help you navigate your life milestones and goals, no matter what short-term political or economic events occur.

Instead of concentrating on the present, I'd like to draw your attention to the past and the future. Veteran's Day is tomorrow. It's a day that I can't help thinking about my father, and what he told me about his war experience and, even more so, what he left out. Tomorrow, we honor all veterans, especially those veterans who are reading this now. Thank you.

This week also marks the beginning of our annual toy drive. The Holiday Magic Toy Drive will help needy children have a magical Christmas. Although we are virtual this year, we will still be able to give to those who need a little joy the most. Please see below for links to their wish lists. And remember, when in doubt, think back to your favorite childhood toy. Technology may change, but the essence of play does not.

As always, please reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.

Warm regards,

Bob's Movie Corner

Like me, many of you probably grew up reading and watching To Kill a Mockingbird, but I recommend revisiting this film if you haven’t watched it recently. Read my full review and learn why I think this classic film should be seen again.

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them..”

For many of us, including Kate, fall means pumpkin flavor. Yesterday, her kitchen was filled with the smell of pumpkin as she baked a loaf of pumpkin caramel bread. Give it a try yourself!
