On behalf of the Midway Chamber, we want to wish you and yours a very happy and safe holidays. We thank our committee members and volunteers for their support of our initiatives and efforts throughout the past year. Midway Nonprofit of the Month Recognition


Blaze Credit Union is a long-time sponsor of the Midway Chamber of Commerce’s Nonprofit of the Month program. At our December event, Blaze announced that not only will it continue to sponsor the Nonprofit of the Month program in 2025, but that each organization recognized next year will receive a $1,000 donation from Blaze.


Blaze is also pleased to extend that donation to each of the Midway Chamber’s 2024 Nonprofit of the Month awardees as well! Thank you Blaze for this generous support of the Midway Chamber and our incredible non-profit members.

Midway Chamber Coffee Club @ Flava Coffee & Café


The Midway Chamber continues it's new Coffee Club in the fashion of our Lunch on the Line events! This is a fun, casual networking program to kickoff your morning on the way to work. This month we will be at Flava, which is inside the NDC building. Flava aims to build community through coffee and create opportunities for young women of color and gender expansive youth by propelling them from coffee to career.

As we gear up for the 2025 Hmong National Development Conference (HNDC), we’re thrilled to share some important updates and opportunities to get involved in this landmark event. Here’s what you need to know:


Early Bird Registration Ends Soon! Early bird registration closes on December 31, 2024. This is the perfect opportunity to lock in your plans to join us in Minneapolis from April 16–19, 2025 as we celebrate 50 years of the Hmong in the U.S. and the 20th anniversary of HNDC. Register now and save!


Volunteer Applications Are Open: Be a part of making this extraordinary event a success by joining our volunteer team. Volunteers are essential to ensuring the smooth operation of the conference, and it’s a fantastic way to engage with the community and network. Volunteers work a minimum of 8-10 hours throughout the conference, and your registration fee and leadership award banquet ticket are fully waived. Volunteer Applications are open now and due by January 31, 2025.


HNDC 2025 Impact Awards: Call for Nominations: Do you know someone making a remarkable impact in the Hmong community? Nominate them for the HNDC 2025 Impact Awards! These awards celebrate individuals and organizations driving meaningful change, innovation, and progress within our community.
