An Advent Gift

When you are at Mass, please be sure to pick up a copy of
I Heard God Laugh by Matthew Kelly. These books were graciously provided to us by an anonymous group of parishioners. Thanks be to God for their generosity!

Fellow Parishioners,

In an effort to keep socially distant while maximizing seating capacity in the church, we have reconfigured the seating patterns and entry into the pews to better serve you.
Please be sure to look at the diagram below of the sanctuary and pay special attention to the arrows.

Thank you for being patient and kind,
as we work together for the health and safety of all!

Sharing Our Blessings
Christmas Share Boxes

At Christmastime we are reminded of the love and joy that Jesus brought into the world and how He wants us to share that love with others. He wants us to be His hands and feet in service to those around us. This has no doubt been a challenging year for all of us, including the families at the San Jose Mission. We are once again collecting Christmas Share Boxes to distribute to these families. This year we would like to include boxes for the adults as well as the children as there are so many families in need and the simple luxuries that we may take for granted: soaps, toothbrushes, socks, deodorant, feminine products, shaving cream, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, etc. are precious gifts they look forward to each year. We kindly ask that you label your box with the age group and gender your gift box is intended for so we can ensure it is distributed properly.

If you are unable to put together a shoebox, but still want to help, we will also accept gift cards. Thank you to all our parish families for your kindness and generosity. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Help For Families

Due to Covid, we will not be collecting gifts through the angel tree; however, we are accepting donations of $25 gift cards to Walmart or Target to help the families buy gifts for their children.

Gift cards may be dropped in the collection boxes, the parish office or brought to the food pantry Fridays (closed on Nov. 27).
Monetary donations are also accepted and can be made by check made out to SVdP, or electronically at www.svdpriverviewfl.org.

The food pantry will be closed on Nov. 27 and Dec. 25.
Thank you and God bless you!
Faith Formation
Next Sunday at the 11:30 Mass, we will celebrate the
Rites of Acceptance and Welcoming for the RCIA inquirers. The inquirers have spent months actively looking into the Catholic faith and are now deciding to move forward. Through this combined rite, they are formally asking to join the Catholic Church and we are formally accepting and welcoming them.  We ask that you joyously participate in this rite.  Please keep all of us, catechumens, candidates, parish sponsors, and team in your prayers.
Please pray for
