Waves of Change Update

We are thrilled to share this update from the villagers of Nkoabang, Ebogo and Esse in Cameroon, Africa, where wells have been successfully installed and are now operational. These wells have brought the invaluable gift of clean, accessible water to these remote communities, transforming their daily lives. The villagers' profound appreciation reflects the life-affirming impact of this essential resource, fostering health, hope and a brighter future for all!

Very dear brothers and sisters in Christ, we, the residents of Esse, are writing to express our gratitude to you for the precious gift that you offer us. There is an adage that says “Water Is Life!” This essential element of life that your generosity offers us, we assure you, will serve the well-being of the entire village without exception. Our prayer on this occasion is that our Father, who loves us more than we love ourselves, will shower you with His blessings beyond your expectations. May He return to you a hundredfold and allow you to continue your generous ways. In all and for all, that the Name of Jesus Christ is praised!

The residents of Ebogo 1 (Soa) say thank you. Thank you to all the Christian community who sent us the well and quenched our thirst. A thousand times thank you.

We, residents of the village of Sakok by Nkoabang are happy and say thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Our women and children no longer travel miles in search of water. Our new well gives us pure water every day. We are grateful and may God return your gift a hundredfold. God bless your priest who thought of us, your parish and the entire Christian community.

Annual Catholic Appeal: Together at the Table

Fr. Dan extends thanks to all who have contributed toward our Annual Catholic Appeal goal. Our pledged amount has surpassed our goal by about $6000. The work on the bathrooms at St. Julian will cost about $5000, and the work at Queen of the Rosary will be more than that. 210 donors from OLBS have already made their gift, helping us reach this goal! To those who have not yet made a contribution to the Appeal, please consider helping us with this work.
