MY ITEM OF THE WEEK...

What truly appeals to me about old Canadian pine furniture is the earthy warmth it adds to a room.--Due to the unadorned lines of antique pine, it mixes well with modern and transitional pieces.

This armoire began life in the 1850's in Nova Scotia as ballast on a ship bound for England.--In England the wood was transformed into this charming armoire and it eventually made its way back to Canada!
