Wines of the Bliss Family and Brutocao Family Vineyards
Alex Mutter, Grapevine Distributing

Friday, February 15
5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Bliss Family Vineyards and Brutocao Cellars are two of Mendocino County’s most notable wineries. Located just 1/3rd mile from each other they are also of related. Bliss Vineyards was started in the late 1930's by Irv Bliss.  Len Brutocao met Martha Bliss while attending the University of California, Berkeley and eventually married. The Brutocao family had been growing grapes for wine production and eventually started making wine themselves. Now both vineyards are very active in growing and wine making. Alexis will fill in the missing parts of the story as you taste some wonderful Mendocino County wines.

  • Brutocao Quadriga Red Blend

Scandalous Cabernet Sauvignon
New Treasure Hunter Wine Arrives Friday

One of the Wines to be Featured on our February 22 Tasting
Washington is bringing it with their Cabernets and SCANDALOUS is at the tippy top of the quality that we love so much from The State. I mean, when I say bring it, I mean bringing it with flowers in one hand and chocolates in the other. Get the Presidential Suite and download to binge watch Scandal!

Darker than a rumor, Scandalous is that flushed whisper of a lover as they yield to your every whim. Racier than Danica Patrick in just a jock strap & Aaron Rodgers in heels, this wine is polished and focused. Your senses will swim in concentrated black cherry, vanilla espresso, warm fig and cascading flavors of dark berries, cassis, and velvety chocolate. The mature vines always offer the most experience and that experience is sprinkled with a chorus of toasty accents of coconut and spice.

Shallowford Farms Popcorn
We've recently brought in a new brand of popcorn that we're excited about. We always do our best to source foods from local sources. We were introduced to Shallowford Farms Yadkin Valley Popcorn just after Christmas and it has been a big hit. This popcorn is grown in Yadkin Valley by local farmers and poped at Shallowford Farms. We've brought in the following flavors:

Movie (Lightly Salted Regular)

Butter, cheese and movie are in 10 ounce bags. Kettle is in a 7 ounce bag and caramel comes in 6 ounce bags. Each is just $5.00/bag.
