The Words of the Lord are Spirit and Life

Oh, Lord, my God, pour out your powerful Word into my heart inviting me me to be Holy because You are Holy. Already through Baptism and strengthened by Confirmation, You are my source of life and holiness by the indwelling of Your Holy Spirit. Give me the grace today to nourish that life in me by my prayer and reception of Your other Sacraments. Pour out Your grace upon me to trust in the power of Your gave to keep me safe along the way of eternal salvation, and to open my heart ever more to the promptings of your grace amid the trials and tribulations of life . I thank You this day for the invitation. Amen.
