Bloom Senior Living Health Alert: Coronavirus Update #21

Dear Bloom Residents, Families & Friends:

We hope everyone is hanging strong. We're doing well at Bloom Senior Living and continuing to get through this temporary disruptive period day by day with our spirits high. Bloom continues to operate with extreme urgency to keep the virus out of our communities; and at the same time proceed with empathy towards our residents. While nothing has changed dramatically since our last update, we wanted to touch base and keep the dialogue open, consistent and transparent.

Testing

We continue to test for COVID-19 at a high rate throughout our Bloom communities, and our infection rates continue to remain comparatively low, especially considering the surges we're monitoring throughout the Country.

With 9 communities (in 5 states) and almost 400 associates serving over 750 residents, we currently have only 1 asymptomatic resident and 4 associates who remain COVID-19 positive (and are self-isolating at home). Our chart below has been updated.

While even one positive case is too many, we're proud of our corporate and local teams (from top to bottom) who have been working 24/7 to keep our residents safe and flourishing. Although it's a trying time, we're not getting fatigued. In fact, to the contrary, our culture remains strong and we're still having fun, creating memories and laughing every day with our residents. Our residents / your loved ones are doing well. We remain committed now more than ever -- with States reopening and cases spiking -- to pro-actively battle this virus, keep it out of the communities and immediately mitigate any potential issues. Every minute of every day is spent trying to achieve the best possible outcomes for our Bloom community!

Bloom "Back On Track Plan"

Bloom's "Back On Track (Reopening) Plan," which consists of three balanced phases, has been detailed in prior updates.

Phase I

The following Bloom communities are in Phase I of the Bloom Back on Track Plan:

Bloom at Belfair Memory Care (South Carolina)

Bloom at Bluffton (South Carolina)

Bloom at Bossier (Louisiana)

Bloom at Hilton Head (South Carolina)

Bloom at Lakewood (Ohio)

Bloom at German Church (Indiana)

Bloom at Eagle Creek (Indiana)

Bloom at Kokomo (Indiana)

Bloom at St. Petersburg in Florida will move into Phase I upon approval from the State.

Phase II

The following Bloom community is in Phase II of the Bloom Back on Track Plan:

Bloom at Belfair Independent Living (South Carolina)

Knowing that our residents belong together, we're actively evaluating moving additional communities into Phase II shortly (in a safe manner).

The Memory Making Stations are live and operational at the following Bloom communities:

Bloom at German Church (Indiana)

Bloom's South Carolina communities, Bloom at Belfair, Bloom at Bluffton and Bloom at Hilton Head, will implement the Memory Making Stations upon approval from the State.
