Dear Bloom Residents, Families & Friends:
While Delta continues to be on our minds, we feel confident in our abilities to keep the residents safe and happy and our approach remains constructive. Our Bloom ownership, Director of Education and local Bloom at Belfair team is engaged 24/7 and laser focused on the safety and comfort of you and your loved one. In that regard, while our vaccination rates overall are high, we're testing any unvaccinated associates twice per week consistent with CMS guidance. So far, so good. We're also monitoring the percentage of positive cases within Beaufort County (currently 19.9%) and the percentage of vaccinated residents and associates. Why is all this important? These are the variables that allow us to continue offering indoor visitation to our residents. We love seeing family and friends in our community, and we're committed to doing whatever it takes to continue to make that happen. Come in and visit our Belfair Bloomers! We just ask that you check in and mask up when visiting memory care.
You may have also heard that booster vaccinations are recommended. We're so happy to report that we have partnered with Burke’s Pharmacy for our onsite booster clinic on September 21, 2021 at 11:00am. We'll also be offering our annual flu vaccinations at that time. We believe that the vaccinations remain a key component to keeping the residents enjoying their best quality of life.
We continue to welcome more and more new families to Belfair. Our residents continue to be in great spirits, active and back enjoying our Bloom way of life. We continue to roll out new programs and look forward to starting our new renovations shortly. There is so many positive things happening at Belfair. Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you. We'll continue to keep you apprised of any developments.
