Dear Bloom Senior Living Residents, Families & Friends:
In addition to our South Carolina (Bloom at Belfair, Bloom at Bluffton and Bloom at Hilton Head) and Ohio (Bloom at Lakewood) communities, our Florida (Bloom at St. Petersburg) community has been scheduled for the COVID-19 vaccine. We've also received additional dates for South Carolina and Ohio. Please see the schedule below for details of the Bloom Senior Living Vaccination Clinics. As you know, the vaccine will be administered -- by CVS Health -- in two doses. The first dose will be provided, at your option, at the first or second clinic. The second dose, depending on the timing of the first dose, will then be provided at the second or third clinic. First doses will not be provided at the third clinic, since, as of now, there won't be follow-up clinics.
We strongly encourage Bloom residents and associates to GET VACCINATED! This is a tremendous benefit for being part of Bloom.

In respect to the latter, verbal consent from the Responsible Party is allowed for residents who do not have physical or cognitive ability to consent (or minors). If consent is collected verbally by the community, the Responsible Party must contact the Executive Director and speak directly to them for consent.
