We've had a busy and exciting first half of the year here at Allen-Stevenson! In the last few months, our boys across all grades have continued to excel in Academics, Arts and Athletics.

Check out the pictures below to see what some of our current Scholars and Gentlemen learned last semester!
Our kindergarten boys honed their observation skills and built empathy by watching, learning, and providing what their classroom pet snails need to stay happy and safe.
Third graders learned how to structure informational “burger paragraphs,” with lots of “juicy” facts sandwiched between introductory and concluding “buns.”
This year, many of our seventh grade boys played Varsity Soccer. The team had many impressive wins including beating St. David's  3-1.
The Upper School Orchestra played with Director of Instrumental Music Claire Schlegel to prepare for their upcoming Chorus & Orchestra Winter Concert on Tuesday, February 4.

BOCAS Mentorship Program
In December, Alumni volunteers were matched with Upper School boys from the Boys of Color at Allen-Stevenson (BOCAS) Affinity Group. The alums will serve as mentors for these boys throughout the coming year.

Alexander Peters '71 , known as 'Sas' on the field, won the World Championship in Ultimate Disc in Sarasota, Florida. He was honored with the Spirit of the Game award for the tournament.


Max Warncke '99 is currently the Captain of the Ocean Freedom. He is a Master billet at the youthful age of 36!
John Rose '90 , Townsend Crum '90 and Jed Novotny '90 had a Reunion planning lunch with Mr. Kersey h'98 at the end of December. This year is the Class of 1990's 30th Reunion!
Joshua Rothstein '12 has started Up All Night Music Group, a concert promotions company. The first show will be headlined by Theo Kandel on Sunday, February 9 at the Bowery Electric in NYC. Fellow A-S alum Conrad de Menil '12 (Stage name Bossanova) will be doing a post show DJ set. You can buy tickets directly through this link.
