Thank you to everyone who participated in Allen-Stevenson's Giving Day! We are humbled by the show of support and incredible generosity of our community on Giving Day, March 9. Over 240 people made a gift to Allen-Stevenson, unlocking an additional $50,000 for the Annual Fund, which supports all the things that make us A-S Proud.

Allen-Stevenson's Annual Gilbert & Sullivan Performance! In March, Allen-Stevenson Upper Division boys performed Gilbert & Sullivan’s H.M.S. Pinafore. A stunning performance from A-S students, with outstanding work from Michelle Demko, Head of the Music Department, and Julie Robles, Director of Theatre! Our students across all grades have continued to excel in Academics, Athletics and the Arts. Take a look below to see what our students have been up to this month!

Lower Division First graders created dioramas of various animal habitats they have studied in science class. Students were asked to think about what kind of animal, plant life, and climate we might discover in their habitat. Upper Division This month, the Allen-Stevenson Upper Division hosted their own Olympics! Each homeroom chose a country to represent and paraded around the gym to their country’s anthem with homemade flags, decorations, and the amazing "bobsleds" they made!

Alumni News

Last month James Herzberg '21, Oliver Willis '21 and Nicholas Hutfilz '21 enjoyed skating together at Wollman Rink. While they’re all happy and busy in their new schools, old friends are always the most fun to reconnect with.

Cameron Koffman '12 joined Upper Division students in February as a panelist for an "Intersession," focused on food insecurity. They explored the topic through a variety of thought-provoking, interactive activities.

This month, Hiram Ratliff '81 recently passed his dissertation defense on the role of the Church in preventing gun violence, and will be graduating with his Doctorate in May.

Obituaries We are deeply saddened to announce that Dean Schroth '02 recently passed away. His funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 30 at the Ukrainian Institute of America in NYC at 4PM. You can view his full obituary through this link.
