Parents of Alumni Reception
On November 16, we welcomed nearly 100 parents of A-S alumni, and previous A-S faculty to see our beautifully updated facilities, visit with current faculty and to meet our new Head of School, Duncan Lyon. For many, this was their first time back in the schoolhouse in years, and it was wonderful to be reunited. Special thanks to Susan Etess P’00 for spearheading this reunion.

Young Alumni Homecoming
On November 22, our youngest graduates were welcomed back to 78th Street for Young Alumni Homecoming.
We had over 70 alumni return to A-S to see friends and teachers over pizza, games, DJ music - and a competitive game of Knockout with Head of School Duncan Lyon!

First Grade Teacher Mr. Thomas Brill created a pen pal project between the first-grade students of Allen-Stevenson and the International School of Brussels. The boys learned about Belgium and the languages spoken in Brussels. They talked about how to write thoughtful and informative letters, sharing information about what they study in school, what languages they speak, and their interests. |

Allen-Stevenson and Nightingale-Bamford seventh and eighth-graders recently performed in "Whodunnit...A Night of Mysteries!" ("Enlightenment," by Emma Wagner DeFrange and "Sorry, Wrong Number," by Lucille Fletcher)
In this retro noir-style production, students deftly navigated both on and off-stage prowess including props, sound, and lighting under the expert auspices of A-S Theatre and Technical Director, Ms. Julie Montero.

Evan Goldfischer '81 was elected to a one-year term as president of LUGPA’s (the national voice representing independent urology in the United States) Board of Directors. Evan's goals for his term as president include expanding LUGPA’s political advocacy efforts and growing LUGPA membership.
