Mr. Allen, the founder of our school, showed up for work for fifty-six years. That means I have six years to go to catch up with, if not surpass, the record holder for length of tenure – and I think I’m up for the challenge. Nonetheless, the School has chosen to celebrate my fifty years, as well as the twenty-five years others have taught.
Friday, May 31
is the date and there is considerable enthusiasm from a range of old boys, past parents and present and past faculty with Reunion classes ’79, ’84, ’94 and ’99 leading the charge! Regardless if you are in a milestone Reunion year or not, I hope you will join us. The place,
583 Park Avenue
, is glorious. Seeing old friends, old teachers, what a delight!
I know someone shouldn’t be arranging his own party, but d*m**t, I would love to see you all, and it looks to be a wonderful event.

David Kersey h'98
Faculty since 1969
