The First state of the students report
Last night at the Granville Schools Board of Education meeting, GHS Principal Matt Durst presented the first State of the Students Report. This report is designed to share the pulse of the student body with Board members and the community.

Mr. Durst highlighted aspects of the student experience that are positive and support our mission of Learning for Life. He also shared some of the challenges our students face, including stress, anxiety, other mental health issues and substance use. Although these challenges impact all educational entities, the information focuses on our students and what they view as challenges.

The State of the Students Report will both complement and inform the Well-Being Task Force. The Board of Education is resolute in their desire to learn more about the strengths and challenges of our students, and to take action as a result. If you are interested in participating with the task force, please contact Janelle King .
