Blue Dragon Qigong

Saturdays:

Part 1: Saturday 28 June

Part 2: Saturday 26 July

Dear Sue,

Blue Dragon Qigong is an elegant and graceful practice that is much like a dance, combining stretching, spiralling and flowing exercises, with a focus on tendon work. The movements encourage optimal Qi, life force energy, to flow through the meridians.

Part 1 happens very soon: this coming Saturday 28 June. Now is the time to reserve your place. Part 2 is on Saturday 26 July. Over these two days you will learn the complete form and how in Chinese culture the Blue Dragon is represented as a symbol of mysteriousness and free-spiritedness. Related to the wood and water elements, its spiralling movements help to nourish our internal organs and speed physical healing as well as building inner strength.

Blue Dragon Qigong was our focus during the recent Qigong & Meditation Retreat week on Holy Isle. Here is some feedback:

Many thanks, for your wonderful week of teaching Qigong and meditation. The Blue Dragon movements make me feel inspired and strengthened to face life´s challenges. Gavin

Many thanks for a wonderful, regenerative, joyful, creative and peaceful week. As ever, your wisdom, inspired teaching and calm presence were also key to making it a very special week. You also provided a fine example by demonstrating that a few physical setbacks haven’t prevented you from carrying on doing what you love. Barbara

Thank you for the fabulous retreat. I really enjoyed your teaching, the mixture of spiritual discipline, technical movement and good mood. Caroline

The Blue Dragon is a symbol of immortality and is said to resist premature senility and prolong life. The colour blue is connected to the kidney jing or essence, the reservoir of genetic material or DNA. Its practice nourishes our internal organs, and activates vitality and inner strength.

Do join me to experience this beautiful practice for yourself, You can attend either on Zoom or here at Mill House Farm. If you aren't free on either one or both days, register and pay for the two days The recording of each day will be sent to you to study in your own time at home.

A Dancing Life

Most of you will know that I have spent a life in dance. This is a heart path: rewarding to the spirit but not to the bank balance! I have profound admiration for fellow dancers and Carol Brown, a friend and colleague, is one. Through her talent she has changed and enriched so many lives, here in the UK and internationally. Please read her story on this

Just Giving page,

I would be so grateful if you are able offer her some help to regain her independence. Thank you.
