   Transfiguration Academy Tiger Tale
"Blue Ribbon Celebration"

Don't forget this Sunday, January 27, is our Blue Ribbon celebration! To commemorate Transfiguration Academy being named a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, the 12 p.m. Mass at St. John's Church will be celebrated by Cardinal Joseph W. Tobin, C.Ss.R. A reception with light refreshments will follow in Conlon Hall. The students have also been practicing hard to bring you a special performance. All are welcome to join this joyous occasion.

"The Future is Bright"

Congratulations to all five of Transfiguration's teams that competed in the NJ Future City competition. The regional competition was held Saturday, January 19, at Rutgers University's Livingston Campus in Piscataway. This year's theme was Powering Our City. Students had to design a resilient power grid for their future city that could withstand and quickly recover from the impacts of a natural disaster.

"The Pro-Life Generation"

Eighth-grade Transfiguration students were among the tens of thousands of people who participated in the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C., on Friday, January 18. The Transfiguration group marched together wearing blue hats and carrying peaceful signs. The march is the world's largest pro-life event. It marks the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, which made abortion legal throughout the United States.
