It was an incredible showing of support for Bronson Children's Hospital patients and families at this year's Run & Walk.

The weather was perfect, the activities were super-fun, and the energy was contagious throughout the event site and on the run and walk routes.

Check out these numbers: 2,240 people registered for this year's event, 240 volunteered, and $226,000 was raised! A huge thank you to everyone who took part!

Survivor Celebrations!

Bronson Cancer Centers in Battle Creek and Kalamazoo both recently hosted Survivor Celebrations. The events feature interactive activities for cancer survivors to participate in – like chair massages and chair yoga, art, snacks, raffle prizes and more. On behalf of patients, families and staff, we are thankful to the donors who provide the funding for these meaningful gatherings.

New at the Bedside at Bronson Children's Hospital

New wall-mounted vital sign monitors have been installed in 29 patient rooms at Bronson Children's Hospital. The wall monitors take the place of eight mobile units that were shared between rooms. The new equipment will allow staff to know that every room they walk into will have a monitor in place to assess heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, and blood oxygen levels. It also significantly cuts down the number of times the units need to be cleaned as they are no longer shared throughout the day. The new equipment was funded by generous Foundation donors.

Bronson Commons Marks 10-year Anniversary

Bronson Commons in Mattawan recently marked 10-years since opening its doors to its first patients. The post-acute care and rehabilitation facility provides 100 all-private rooms, beautiful healing gardens and light-filled public spaces. We extend our gratitude to the many Bronson Health Foundation donors who contributed to help create the healing environment that continues to enhance the experience for patients and families today.
