Dear Berry Best Farm Friends:
Here is the latest news from the farm as of Friday, August 10:
Blueberry picking is still going strong as of today. Price per pound for blueberry picking is $2.85. The weather is cooler and this is a great time to stock up on your berries. Have some fresh now in your pancakes and muffins and freeze some for later. The bushes are absolutely loaded and it's very easy picking. Come and get them while they last!
Peaches: One or Two Weeks Only
The few peaches we have this year are just starting to ripen now. We will have some ready for picking this weekend and they will probably only last for the next two weeks. Price per pound is $1.85. We likely will have already picked peaches available in the store for those who don't want to pick their own.
"Picking for the Pantries" is Sunday, Aug. 12
Pick a pail to donate to local food pantries in the back field; pick a FREE pail for yourself.
