Bluebonnet's Help A Horse Show and Adoption event

Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society is holding our 2nd Annual Bluebonnet's Help a Horse Show and Adoption Event on May 4th at the Jim A Dee Arena in Sanger, Texas.

The event includes an open horse show - with classes just for Bluebonnet horses as well as classes for non-Bluebonnet horses. We'll also be having our first annual spring Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge, a silent auction, sale area, saddle raffle, half price adoptions, and more!

We have volunteers and horses coming from all across Texas to participate, and we hope you'll come support us as we grow the rescue in North Texas and add a second awesome event to our annual calendar.

Bluebonnet's 3rd Annual Ride-A-Thon

It is time for our 3rd Annual Ride-A-Thon for the rescue horses! This is something fun you can do from anywhere as long as you have a horse you can ride or drive. :)
To participate: sign up, solicit sponsors, and then log your rides from April 15-May 15. At the end, you collect your sponsorships and submit them to Bluebonnet. You'll be helping rescue horses while enjoying your horses - AND you could even win prizes!
 
Class Sponsors Needed for Bluebonnet's Help a Horse Show

Our Bluebonnet Help-a-Horse show is looking for class sponsors! Sponsorships are just $10 and help us cover the cost of putting on the show so more money can go to helping needy horses get the help they need and deserve.

When yuo sponsor a class, you also get to include a brief message that will be read out when the class is announced. Such as Class 10, sponsored by ABC Business. Best luck to the competitors!
 
Help a Horse Donations

If you would like to help horses like Claire (pictured) recover from abuse and neglect, please donate to our Help a Horse Fund. Donations to this fund will help Claire, the other fourteen horses we've taken in this year, and the approximately ten new horses on their way to us!

Join the Fall Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge

Both trainers and amateurs who participate in our Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenges have said that it is a wonderful experience! They get to help a rescue horse become adoptable and find a forever home while also improving their own training and riding abilities. PLUS they get to compete for prize money!

This fall's Challenge will take place on October 19 at the Williamson County Expo Center in Taylor ( new location! ). Horse assignments will be made in e arly June and training starts June 15th.
