Wow! We have had a GREAT first week of school!! We have some truly amazing kiddos in Bluff Dale! Drop-Off and Pick-Up have gone well. Pick-Up will get faster and faster within just a few weeks.
Exciting News! Meet the Bobcats will be this Thursday, the 14th, at 6:30 p.m. in the HS gym. Booster Club will be there and will be starting their membership and sponsorship drive. By joining Booster Club, you are helping to support all of our JH & HS athletes in every single sport. This is a great organization and we would love for everyone to be a part of it! Your child does not have to be an athlete for you to join.
Speaking of great organizations, PTO is always looking for new members. If you haven't seen our cafeteria, they did an AMAZING job of painting it this summer. They got the teachers Sonic drinks on Thursday - thank you, PTO!!
We started our Bluebonnet math curriculum this week. It's going very well. Ask your child what they learned in math this week! Dual Credit has not started yet but will soon. Our high school CTE (Career Technology Education) classes are off to a good start and students will be working towards earning IBCs (Industry Based Certifications). These will help them as they leave high school.
I am going to have a Parent Advisory Committee this year so that parents can share their ideas and we can work together to make our school even better. If you are interested in being a part of this committee, please email or call me and let me know. We will meet about once per six weeks. I think this will be a great opportunity! I hope lots of you sign up!

Working together we can accomplish anything and find solutions! Thank you for sending your children to BDISD and sharing them with us. They are all blessings to us!
