Blum made it on the list! Two lists, to be exact; the 2025 ENR Top 400 Contractor's List and the Triad Business Journal's Biggest General Contractors list.
On both lists, Blum moved to a higher position in 2025 compared to 2024 results. This exemplifies Continuous Improvement & Development.

Mike Lancaster - Business North Carolina Power List

He began his career at Blum in the early 2000s as an intern while attending NC State University and officially joined the company in 2003. Leadership Academy Levels Up
Blum's 2024-2025 Leadership Academy cohort has officially graduated! To celebrate the completion of their 16-month, nine full-day class commitment, this group of rising leaders experienced the art and challenge of fly fishing in the rushing waters of Asheville, NC.
During their time in the Leadership Academy, the group learned about things like risk management, team dynamics, and financial analysis, and they gained specialized training on how to become even better leaders. We thank them for their dedication and passion for refining their amazing skills and talents.

Jake Bailey: PROpel AVL Awards Nominee
The Blum team attended the PROpel AVL Awards program on May 22 to honor young professionals who have distinguished themselves as outstanding leaders within their industries, organizations, and community. One of these individuals was our very own Jake Bailey, who was nominated as a finalist in the Mentorship category. Congratulations to Jake for this achievement!
