A Thoughtful Gift for Mr. Rust at Salemtowne
A few weeks ago, Mr. Joe Rust, a long-time resident at Salemtowne Retirement Community, got in touch with Kristie Touchstone to ask if Blum Construction had any more of his "favorite" mug. Mr. Rust explained that he had accidentally broken the mug and in his 84 years it was the best mug that he ever had!
Determined to help, Kristie carefully pieced together his description and managed to track down what might be one of the last remaining mugs of its kind.
On Wednesday this week, Kristie visited Mr. Rust at his home in Salemtowne bearing a gift bag with Blum swag items, two new Blum-branded mugs, and a mug identical to Mr. Rust's favorite coffee accessory. His excitement was undeniable, and the meaningful exchange was a reminder that even the smallest gestures can make a big impact.
