Hurricane Helene Update
Throughout the last couple of weeks, we have kept in touch with our Western NC teammates. All are safe and many have restored power to their homes but will be without fresh water for some time. Blum has made multiple deliveries of supplies including water, generators, cash, etc. If you have been able to contribute, thank you!
At this time, we do not have an update on the Blum Construction office in Asheville, as we are waiting to hear from the landlord, who will be able to provide our next steps. Employees continue to work from remote locations and some projects have recommenced.

πChristmas in Octoberπ
Each year Blum Construction gives our employees a gift for the holidays. This holiday season we are changing things up a bit and you will be able to choose your own gift!
By EOD Friday, October 11th, all employees will receive an email that contains a website link and redemption code from: noreply@ordermygear.com. Once you receive the link and code, you will have until midnight on Sunday, October 27th to select your gift. All gifts will be delivered and distributed at each region's Christmas party.
This is a separate code from your Blum Bucks, can only be used once, and cannot be used for the Blum Store. It must be entered exactly as it looks in your email.
Please read the descriptions and make your selections carefully, because these are custom items and cannot be returned.

Superior service or what separates good from great is, many times, the little things. Small actions can differentiate us. From holding a door, to saying please and thank you, to simple handwritten notes of gratitude. Little things carry great meaning. | |

IMPLEMENTING THE FRANK FACTOR
Super Service at Covenant Village
During the storms, Covenant Village in Gastonia, NC lost power to one of their residential buildings when a transformer blew. This was outside our scope of work, but nonetheless our team jumped into action and helped them secure a temporary generator. We were also able to locate a permanent solution and get it installed while they relied on the temporary generator for a week.
Dale Melton, CEO of Covenant Village, Seth Heustess, Director of Property Services, and CJMW's Kathleen Warner, have expressed their gratitude and praises to all of the Blum team involved - especially Derrick Wiser, Stephen Mims, and Levi Duffield.
"Thanks to all the strong and determined efforts of Blum with Derrick, Stephen, Levi, and all others involved... I share all of this gratitude with equally deep humility and respect. I know what our colleagues and friends in western NC are experiencing is never to be compared to the mere inconveniences we have experienced, but it is providential that Derrick was able to locate this generator and future transformer. We are blessed."
- Dale Melton, CEO, Covenant Village
"I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Stephen Mims. He has been on-site day and night, lending a helping hand with this situation. His hard work and dedication have truly shone through! Thank you, Stephen, for everything you do for Covenant Village. Also, thank you to all who have been a part during this crazy time, making sure our residents are taken care of."
- Seth Heustess, Director of Property Services, Covenant Village
"...Praise for one of your best and brightestβ¦ Stephen is doing a phenomenal job. Thank you for the opportunity we have to work with him and watch his service in action with this dear community and their residents. ABOVE AND BEYOND β the Blum way."
- Kathleen Warner, CJMW Architecture
