Meet the Town of Blythewood's Summer Interns

Imani Harper attended Westwood High School and graduated this past May. She will be focusing on Marketing and assisting with Event Planning during her time with the Town of Blythewood. She looks forward to making new connections and learning as much as she can before leaving for college! After her summer internship, she plans to attend North Carolina Central University as a Spanish Major and study abroad. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with family, and watching old movies!

Dalicia Stevens attended Westwood High School and graduated this past May. She will be focusing on Social Media Marketing while at the Town of Blythewood. She looks forward to meeting new people in the Town and seeing what everyone has to offer! After her summer internship, she plans to attend the University of North Carolina (Charlotte) as a double major in Political Science and Communications. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, writing, traveling, shopping, trying new things and napping!

Election Informational Meetings

Independence Day Holiday

Town Offices will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2025 in observance of Independence Day. Town Offices will reopen Monday, July 7, 2025 at 8:30am. Happy Independence Day!

UPCOMING EVENTS

Join the Richland County Recreation Commission for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the new Pickleball Courts at Blythewood Park! The ceremony will take place at 126 Boney Road here in Blythewood on Thursday, July 10th at 10:00am!

Join the Town of Blythewood for their Summer Community Cookout Party on Sunday, July 13th from 6-8pm! There will be hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, and drinks! This is a free family-friendly community event happening under the new soccer pavilion at 100 Alvina Hagood Circle.

The Town of Blythewood presents Food Truck Fridays! Every Friday in June and July except the July 4th Holiday. It will be in Doko Meadows Park (171 Langford Road) from 5:00pm-8:00pm. There will be food, dessert, snacks, and more!

The Blythewood Farmers Market will be in Doko Meadows Park (171 Langford Road) here in Blythewood, SC from 4PM-7PM every Wednesday! Click here to visit their website for more information.
