Dr. Brian Gallery purchased the hospital from a previous owner in 2017 and officially rebranded it in 2023 to what it is today. The team includes four veterinarians, one of whom performs high-level surgeries, and a radiologist who comes in weekly. Doko Animal Hospital provides your general veterinary care, surgeries, as well as boarding and grooming services. They pride themselves in being locally owned and are constantly staying up to date on the most current techniques. The Doko Animal Hospital usually cares for dogs and cats but can provide preventative care to goats, smaller reptiles, and other exotic pets. They look forward to growing and continuing to provide high-quality veterinary medicine to the community of Blythewood and surrounding areas.

Blythewood Wings and Pub

Blythewood Wings and Pub was originally under a different name and owner. It was purchased back in September 2023 and has since been rebranded to what it is today. Most of the staff are local and have been working there since before the name and owner was changed. Since rebranding, Blythewood Wings and Pub have gone through some remodeling and revamping to create a more inviting, more positive environment. Blythewood Wings and Pub looks forward to continuing to improve and provide exceptional service to the Town of Blythewood. Marc Ryan, the manager, enjoys the traditional hot wings with blue cheese dressing or wings with chipotle honey sauce.

New Councilwoman

Erica Page, the Town of Blythewood's newly elected councilwoman, was officially inaugurated at the Town Council meeting held on March 25, 2024. We are excited to have her with us, serving the community of Blythewood.

Community Meeting for Doko Park Expansion

The purpose of this meeting will be to present the Doko Park Phase II conceptual drawings and recommendations based on the Community Input Survey and Market recommendations. Follow us on social media to stay up to date with the latest information as we continue to plan this meeting.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Starting on April 17th, the Blythewood Farmer's Market will begin their regular season every Wednesday from 4PM-7PM until November in Doko Meadows Park! Click here to visit their website.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is hosting a 3-mile walk at Doko Meadows Park on Saturday, April 20th, 2024. Check-in starts at 9AM and the walk will begin at 10AM. Visit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation website here to register or volunteer. Click here if you would like to learn more about CF!
