Blythewood Jiu Jitsu

Blythewood Jiu Jitsu has been open since September 2023. According to Don Russo, head of finances, Blythewood Jiu Jitsu is operated by a team of individuals passionate about the art. They strive to equip their students with self-defense skills, confidence, safety, and security. Classes are available throughout the week for children 4-15 years old and adults of all ages. They are rapidly growing and working on expanding the classes they offer.

Open since May of 2017, Bloomin' Bean coffee shop is located on McNulty Street here in Blythewood, SC.

Bloomin' Bean Coffee Bar

In July 2023, Bloomin' Bean opened their kitchen and now serve sweets and seasonal light lunches. Serving a variety of different coffees, including their unique pour-overs, Bloomin' Bean is run by Carla Lomas and her daughter, Jasmine Lomas. "We are excited to be one of Blythewood's hidden gems. UPCOMING EVENTS

The Gamecock Equestrians first meet of the month is TODAY, Friday March 1st at 10:00AM. They are competing here in Blythewood at One Wood Farm against SDSU. Admission is free!

Blythewood's annual Ribfest will take place on March 9th from 9AM-6PM. Rib tasting begins at 11AM and continues while it lasts, so we recommend getting there early! Rib tasting tickets will be available on-site for $2 each.

The Spring Artisan Market is on Saturday, March 16th from 10:00AM-2:00PM at Doko Meadows Park! Shop and support small, local businesses!

Blythewood's Winter Pick-Up Farmers Market is every Wednesday through March 27th from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Doko Meadows Park!

Village Church is having their annual Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, March 30th at Doko Meadows Park from 11:00am-1:00pm. There will be over 20,000 Easter eggs hidden, candy, BBQ sandwhiches, music by VillageWorship, and more!
