Following each Orleans Parish School Board meeting, the district’s Governmental & External Affairs Team will share an overview of key actions to keep the New Orleans community informed.

All meetings take place at the Orleans Parish School Board building, 2401 Westbend Parkway, Suite 1050, New Orleans, LA 70114.

Committee Meetings are scheduled on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m., unless otherwise noted. Board Business Meetings are scheduled on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. during the same week, unless otherwise noted. Additional information, including agendas and notices of any schedule changes, is available on the District’s website.

May 2026 OPSB Board Business Meeting

Board Meeting Summary

At the May 21, 2026 Board Business Meeting, Superintendent Dr. Fulmore presented highlights from May, including recognition of Portrait of a Graduate honorees, graduation celebrations, and the Stay In School Car Giveaway Program.

The Orleans Parish School Board adopted the consent agenda and several key action items, including new OPSB Policy EH, Educational Service Agency, which formalizes the Agency’s purpose of enhancing efficiency and long-term sustainability through the voluntary pooling of resources among schools. Lastly, the Board entered into executive session to discuss board-related matters.
