Board Candidate Selection Process Approved
Boise, ID -- 11/02/2020 -- During the Board workshop held on Friday, October 30, 2020, the Boise School Board approved the process to fill the current vacancy on the Board. Following a discussion to narrow the number of applicants, the Board approved the following process to select a new trustee.
Trustee Selection Process
- Finalist Interview Process:
- Interview the final candidates on Monday, November 2, 2020 beginning at 6 p.m. at the Dennis Technical Education Center Training Annex, 8201 W. Victory Rd., Boise
- 20-25 minute interview for each finalist
- The Board identified the following four candidates to interview:
- Andrew Hawes
- Christy Little
- Elizabeth Langley
- Erin Erkins

Board will follow Regulation 1131(R) - Filling Vacancies on the Board of Trustees
- On November 9, during its regularly scheduled monthly Board meeting, the Boise School Board is scheduled to appoint a new trustee to fill the vacancy.
