Last week, we were blessed to bring our Board together in Indianapolis to ratify our collective commitment to the Tamarindo Foundation’s vision of breaking the chains of poverty and forced migration in El Salvador.

Our Board Retreat provided the opportunity to develop our 2019 goals with timetables, while keeping our Mission & Vision as the framework during our Retreat. I feel very fortunate to work with such a committed group that are inspired by their faith.

As we continue to steer our work towards improving the quality of life in Guarjila in order to tackle violence, gangs, forced migration, poverty and substance abuse at their roots, we invite you to accompany us in this process by investing in Salvadorans’ future.
At our meeting in Indiana we discussed our most pressing 2019 goals, including:
As we approach the holy days of Christmas, we are so grateful to all of you who have brought us 26 years of blessings.

With only a couple of weeks left in 2018, we still need $110,000 to meet our annual budget. Your investment will provide jobs, education, joy and a future for our people.
Be assured that we will continue to work hard on behalf of our community. Know that with your continued generosity and God’s grace, we will defeat poverty and our families will no longer have to leave their home, the country of the Saviour, El Salvador.

God Bless You.
On behalf of all of us here at the Tamarindo,
Merry Christmas and Blessings During this Holy Holiday Season
