Dear Neighbor,
Today is International Holocaust Remembrance Day as designated by the United Nations General Assembly—the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau. As the granddaughter of Jewish ancestors who immigrated to Argentina from what are now Ukraine, Lithuania, and Romania, I hope we will continue to share educational programs to help prevent future genocides. Read more about International Holocaust Remembrance Day here.

Gallows Road Corridor Study
|
The Fairfax County Department of Transportation (FCDOT) is ready to review Gallows Road. This is a long-awaited and exciting opportunity to study Gallows from the perspective of transportation and multimodality.
This study and outreach process will be meetings with a stakeholder group, including HOAs, faith communities, schools, and other groups to gain as much public input as possible. If your community is interested in being a part of this group, please have your community leadership contact Providence@fairfaxcounty.gov. While the stakeholder group will be limited with a goal of balancing geographic representation around Gallows, all meetings will be public with opportunities for comment.
We look forward to working with you on this visioning process!
