We Couldn’t Have Done it Without You!

In March, EduTutorVA celebrated the support of business and community partners who have consistently supported efforts to close achievement gaps through targeted tutoring. A special nod to Google, Altria, Dominion Energy, and Transurban; their generous contributions have allowed EduTutorVA to grow a diverse pool of future educators and bring consistent, targeted tutoring to students in twelve Title 1 schools in Virginia.

A special thanks to Keynote Speaker, Dr. Francis Collins, M.D., Ph.D. and Senior Investigator, National Human Genome Research Institute and former Director of NIH.

Dr. Collins further emphasized EduTutorVA's two-fold mission with his guitar and a catchy song he wrote for the occasion! Dr. Collins was an entertaining complement to the panel discussion, which featured a school principal, a tutor coach, and three college tutors.
